Copy content as markdown

I want to be able to copy text from my documents that I’ve written in markdown as markdown. I know the markdown export option exists and I can copy paste the content from there, but I’d rather not have to export first.

Additionally, the export option works beautifully with inline tables, so this “copy as markdown” option should support tables as well.
