Does it make sense to use the self-hosted version?

Actually I decided to install the self-hosted version of affine, but I see that anyway to save my data I have to use affine cloud, and I don't see any administrative panel or anything like that?

What things can I do in the self-hosted version? Because for now what I see is just to have affine in your domain and that's it, because everything else is still depending on the cloud version.
